VIENNA URBAN | Score-Orienteering

The VIENNA URBAN events are designed for orienteers, students, and beginners. Everyone comes together to enjoy urban orienteering in the city!

• Register online and choose a time limit: Urban 30 or Urban 60 minutes.
• Limited on-site registration is also available.

Schedule:

• 18:00: Urban Social - Gathering time.
• 18:30: Start - Everyone begins simultaneously.

Experience VIENNA URBAN – A Sporty Adventure in Vienna!

You’ll receive a map showing streets, paths, private properties, and buildings. Key features:

• The start is marked with a triangle.
• Checkpoints (controls) are marked with circles.
• The finish is shown as a double circle.

Goal:
Collect as many points as possible within the given time (30 or 60 minutes). Each checkpoint has a specific value, indicated on the map next to the circle and on the control description (also on the map).

How it works:

• Decide how many checkpoints to visit and in what order.
• Plan your route wisely: exceeding the time limit results in a penalty of 20 points per minute.
• Only collect as many points as you can within the time limit.

VIENNA URBAN can be completed individually or as a team (registration fee applies per person). Invite your friends and family to explore Vienna from a new perspective!

• Do not climb over walls/fences or enter private property (marked in olive green).
• Sportident Air+: Touch-free system activated.

Registration

• Online: Register by Sunday before the event via ANNE (Dornbach and Sievering) or by email: Email Registration.
• On-site: Limited registration available at the meeting point.

Fees:

• Adults: €10
• Students (up to 18 years): €5

Equipment Rental Fees:

• Classic chip: €2
• SIAC touch-free chip: €3 (replacement cost for loss: €75)
